Turtle Wing Foundation was recently granted $25,000 from Texas Mutual to be used for therapeutic, educational, and recreational scholarships for those with learning challenges in rural areas. These funds will be used to directly fund services, ranging from speech therapy to tutoring to inclusive dance, for those whose families may not be able otherwise to afford the services.
The grant was part of the Texas Mutual generational learn- ing grant program. Turtle Wing Foundation is one of three Cen-
tral Texas nonprofits to receive a grant from Texas Mutual.
