Medicare 1 on 1 Enrollment Programs being offered

Medicare Open Enrollment can be confusing. To answer questions on what to do whether you are signing up for the first time or re-signing up for the 2024 year attend one of the two “Medicare 1 on 1” workshops being offered by the Area Agency on Aging of the Capital Area and hosted by Fayette County Committee on Aging, Schulenburg Regency Retirement Villas, and the Fayette County AgriLife Ex- tension office. Yvette McVey, lead benefits counselor with Area Agency on Aging of the Capital Area, will provide information on Original Medicare Part A & B, Medicare Advantage or Medigap Plans, Part D Prescriptions, and Medicare Savings Program, plus answer questions if you are work- ing past 65.

In La Grange, the program

will be held on Thursday, Sept. 21 from 10 a.m. to noon at the

Fayette Agricultural Building, 255 Svoboda Ln. in La Grange.

In Schulenburg, the workshop will be conducted on Wednes- day, Oct. 25 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Schulenburg Regency Villas, 205 East Ave., Ste. A in Schulenburg, Call the Fayette County Exten-
