Brewers end Vets season

SEALY - The Vets traveled to Sealy to face the Brewers in the semi-finals of the playoffs. The Brewers jumped out to a 10-1 lead and never looked back. Single runs in the sixth and seventh ended the game for a final score of 12-2. Offensive leaders- Josh Morgan- 3 singles, RBI; Ryker Goehring- single, RBI; Zane Ponder- single, 2 walks; Clay Barton- double, run scored; Zak Kunz- walk, run scored.

The championship will be played between the Austin County Brewers and the Shiner Clippers. The Brewers will host the first game of a three-game series on Sunday, August 13 in La Grange at The Ballpark at the Fairgrounds at 3pm.
