FRELSBURG — It may have been hot outside but that didn’t stop Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church from putting on a hot time on the church grounds when it kicked off its fried fish meal on Aug. 6 in Frelsburg.
The meal was served with buttered potatoes, hush puppies, pinto beans and tea.
The event included the country store, a cake walk, games for the kiddos, a live auction in the Diamond Center and Bingo inside the dining hall.
The Blue Denim Band played following the auction.
Sts Peter & Paul Catholic Church celebrated over 175 years of fellowship in Christ.
