The Columbus High School volleyball team is already off to a hot start as they recently won the Columbus Varsity Volleyball Classic. They took down Schulenburg in the semifinals, then beat Victoria West in the fi nals to win it all.
Stand out performances in this tourney came from Ally Tribe and Sage Thomas. Tribe had 12 kills in the semifinals vs Schulenburg and Thomas put up 24 assists.
This will be a duo that will continue to put up high numbers in their respective fields. Colum bus is now 9-0 on the season and won’t be slowing down any time soon.
