COLUMBUS — Members of St. Paul Lutheran Church and the Columbus community gathered around Deacon Sandy Fletcher one last time as she leaves for Tennessee. Family health issues forced her to make a decision to leave this community that she has become such a part of for the past six years.

Fletcher was a deacon for six years at the church. However, her ministry did not stop before leaving the doors of the church. She spread the Word throughout the community and was well-liked and well-received. St. Paul Lutheran Church Pastor Alan Kethan said “Sandy will be sorely missed since she was so integral, not only for us but the work she was doing in the community.”
