FLATONIA - St. Paul A.M.E. will celebrate its 135th Commemorative Homecoming with a service on Sunday, Aug. 27, starting at 2 p.m.
The theme for this event is Praising God for 135 Years of His Grace and Mercy. This pro- gram will be via Zoom and Con ference Call.
Former Pastor Shawn King, now of Dallas, will be the guest speaker. King will discuss the idea that we are living better be cause of God's Grace and Mercy toward us and that we can cause others to live better because of what we do as Christians.
King will share some thoughts from the beginning to the end of the bible about the different scenarios and thoughts centered on 'Grace and Mercy'.
Additionally, he will ask that we focus on our parents, fore-parents, and other ancestors as they developed their worshiping expe riences.
Come and Praise God and worship with them on the fourth Sunday in August. May God Bless You.
