Design contest determines 2024 “I Voted” and “Future Voter” stickers

AUSTIN COUNTY - The Austin County Elections Depart - ment invites local Austin County students to participate in its first "I Voted" and "Future Voter" de sign contests.

AUSTIN COUNTY - The Austin County Elections Depart - ment invites local Austin County students to participate in its first "I Voted" and "Future Voter" de sign contests.

The contest is open to all Austin County students K-12 enrolled in a public, private, or homeschool setting, and the winning design will be distributed to all voters at Early Voting and on Election Day during the 2024 elections. The deadline to submit a design is Friday, Sept. 1.

Once all designs are submitted, a panel of distinguished judges will select the winning design.

Judging will be based on the theme, uniqueness of the design and artistry.

Finalists will be notified by the Elections Department by Sept. 20. These individuals will be invited to an awards ceremony during Commissioners Court on Sept. 25, where the winners will be announced to the public.

Participants must agree to the contest's official rules and submit their design by completing an "I Voted" or "Future Voter" sticker design entry form and a parental consent form.

All submissions must be in person through the school’s front office or designated represen - tative or in person at the Austin County Tax Office by Sept. 1 at 4 p.m. More information is available on the Austin County Elections Department website at www. austincounty.com/page/austin.
