EAGLE LAKE — After much anticipation The First National Bank of Eagle Lake is proud to announce the Aug. 8 groundbreaking ceremony for their new home office to be located at 1220 E. Main St., in Eagle Lake.
This project is the largest single investment in the history of the bank. It is a logical and necessary step toward strengthening operational efficiency, and is a clear commitment by the bank toward continuing to provide fi nancial services for Colorado and Wharton counties.
This new state of the art facility was designed by Cutright & Prihoda, Inc.-Architects out of La Grange, and will reflect some of the original 1904 bank build ing architectural features.
Polasek Construction, Inc. out of El Campo, was selected as the general contractor for the new facility.
The bank building will bring a fresh new addition to the east side of Eagle Lake as people travel west from Houston on High- way 90-A.
First National Bank donated the current downtown building to the City of Eagle Lake for fu- ture use as a consolidated office facility.
On hand for the ceremony, were bank board members, bank executives, Colorado County of- ficials, Eagle lake Chamber of Commerce members, representatives of Cutright & Prihoda and representatives of Polasek Construction.
