EAGLE LAKE — Mary Ann Kaluza, an Eagle Lake Wintermann Library Board Member, is delighted to present one of the first items to be included in this year’s Live Auction, one of the most exciting parts of the Eagle Lake Friends of the Library Dinner and Auction scheduled at the Community Center on Saturday, Sept. 23.

Kaluza is standing in the Library Conference room, with portraits of David and Eula Wintermann looking with interest over her shoulder, as she holds a beautiful, professionally framed watercolor of Venetian Gondolas across the Bay from Saint Mark’s Basilica in Venice, Italy, painted by Lesley Matthews Carey. This original painting is sure to gain great enthusiasm when Auctioneer, Todd Krenek begins the bidding. You won’t want to miss your opportunity to join in on the fun.

Tickets for the Dinner are $12 and raffle tickets are $20 and will soon be available to purchase at the Eula and David Wintermann Library or from any Friends of the Library member.

The public’s participation will help the library to be able to continue providing the ‘Magic of New Books’, the fantastic Summer Reading Program, the free use of computers to the community and all the other services that are done so well here in Eagle Lake.
