The Colorado County Fair Association welcomes the children of Colorado County to compete in the Colorado County Fair Little Miss., Little Mr., and Junior Miss pageant contests.
The contests will be held at the Colorado County Fairgrounds at the Founder's Hall on Thursday, Sept. 7, starting at 6 p.m.
Little mr. and little miss con- tests are for children 5, 6, or 7 years of age, and The jr. miss contest follows with contestants being 8, 9, or 10 years by Sept. I.
All contestants must reside in Colorado County. The contest entry fee is $25 and consists of an on-stage interview before a panel of out-of-county Judges. Western attire is recommend ed but optional, with scoring being 90% on-stage personality and 10% Western attire. Winners must be available to ride the fair float and participate in represent ing the fair association at fair events.
Sign up is available at the Co lumbus Chamber of Commerce office Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Entry card must be filled out and returned with a $25 entry fee.
The deadline to enter is Friday, Sept. 1 by 4:30 p.m.
