COLUMBUS — Columbus Community Hospital held its annual dinner and auction fundraiser on Aug. 12 at the Southern Oaks Event Center in Columbus.
Ticket purchases, sponsorship donations, and the money raised from the goodies from a silent auction as well as a live auction will support the new pulmonology program at Columbus Community Hospital.
The new pulmonology specialist for the hospital community is Dr. Carl Dahlberg, M.D., who comes from the Houston Medical Center. Dahlberg was introduced with honor and told the crowd about his excitement about working in the community.
The dinner consisted of roast beef served alongside roasted potatoes, a roll, tea, and cheesecake for dessert.
The auctioneer calling out the auction items made it a fun and lively event of the night.
Music, which heals the soul, was provided by Dr. Robert Sanders.
It was a beautiful, fun, and successful evening for the future of the hospital.
