Truck in flames on I-10

The grass isn’t the only thing burning because of the heat. An eighteen wheeler ran into a jeep on I-10 near the Colorado River Bridge on Aug. 28. Because of the rescue call, a mutual aid call was made to the Bernardo and Eagle Lake Fire Departments. Colorado County OEM Chuck Rodgers was on the scene with the fire engine and tanker and acted as command and helped get the fire under control. There were no injuries
