COLUMBUS — Columbus Lions President Gary Chandler introduced Liam Vasser who was sponsored this past summer to attend a week at the Lions Camp in Kerrville. Vasser told the Club about all of the fun things they were able to do, kayaking, fish ing, star gazing and woodworking just to name a few. He said it was a great week, meeting new friends too.
Also at Monday’s meeting was Past District Governor Johanna Elliott, who spoke to the Club about the Texas Lions Eyeglass Recycling program. The Colum- bus Lions Club meets the first four Mondays each month at Schobels at noon. Come meet up with the members and learn more about becoming a Lion.
