The Stop Bullying Art Contest deadline is Friday, Sept. 22. Any 12th grade student in Colorado County, is eligible to participate. The artist may use any medium they choose, but it must be on the supplied card stock paper avail able from the school art teacher.
The required theme is using Stop Bullying suggestions. How does it feel to be bullied? What
does a bully look like? How to stand up and speak up about bullying.
Judging and displaying of the artwork will be the first week in October and will be displayed in the upper gallery of the Live Oak Art Center in Columbus.
An awards ceremony will take place on Oct. 12 from 6 to 6:30 p.m. at the Live Oak Art Center.
The Stop Bullying Art Contest is sponsored by the Health and Behavioral Wellness Council of Greater Colorado Valley.
