The Rice High School football team is now 2-0 for the ’23 season with their most recent win against Kashmere High School Aug. 31 by a final score of 31-14.
In head coach Brad Dumont’s second season, there has obviously been a culture change with double-digit wins in both games, the first game being a 43-6 victo ry over Luling on Aug. 25.
The Raiders also possess 2024 Nebraska football commit Roger Gradney, a two-way player who can cover just about all parts of the field. Rice is looking more and more like a team that can make push for being one of the better teams in the area.
