MOULTON — St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Moulton will hold its parish picnic on Sunday, Sept. 17.
Father Gabriel and the Parishioners of Saint Joseph invite everyone to its annual picnic.
The celebration begins with a Mass at 10 a.m. at the newly renovated church.
The picnic meal features Moulton’s famous fried chicken and beef stew dinner beginning at 10:30 a.m. at $14 per plate.
Drive-thru plates to go and meat to go will be available. Music under the pavilion will be provided by Ken Brothers from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
A free dance inside the air-conditioned hall will have music by The Fender Bender Band from 1 to 5 p.m.
Other activities inside the Social Center will include a cake walk and Bingo from 2 to 6 p.m.
The auction will be held under the pavilion beginning at 1 p.m.
Many more fun activities are planned under the pavilion and on the picnic grounds including a country store, plant walk, fish pond, train ride, ring toss and other games.
A raffle drawing will be held with $7,400 worth of gift certifi cateto be given away.
There will be plenty of refreshments, snow cones, popcorn and hamburgers.
