Weimar Wildcats heads to undefeated 3-0

Wildcats football is showing signs of turning it’s program around with a perfect start to the season and a 3-0 record. Weimar scored 53 points in their first game, 37 in their second game to go along with a shutout, and 65 in their most recent win against Somerville. The Wildcats also haven’t allowed more than 14 points in each game this season, with the 14 points allowed being in the Somerville game.

Before the shutout of Yorktown in game two, Weimar only allowed six points against John Paul II in their season opener.

Second-year head coach Wade Griffin clearly has a presence that has resulted in a winning team.

They aren’t just winning games, they are blowing opponents out.

This seems to be a very different Weimar team than we’ve seen over the past few years, and it’s a team that’s racing in a positive direction.
