Beef cattle management seminar scheduled

INDUSTRY – The Beef & Forage Committee of Austin County in partnership with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service of Austin County will be hosting a Beef Cattle Management Seminar Friday, March 24, at Four County Auction Center located at 15900 TX HWY 159 in Industry.

INDUSTRY — The Beef & Forage Committee of Austin County in partnership with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service of Austin County will be hosting a Beef Cattle Management Seminar Friday, March 24, at Four County Auction Center located at 15900 TX HWY 159 in Industry.

Program registration will be- gin at 12:30 p.m., with the first presentation beginning at 1 p.m. The program will conclude by approximately 4:30 p.m. Information to be covered includes Carbon Capture in Grazing, Update on Laws & Regulations for TDA, and Upcoming Changes in OTC Antibiotics for Beef Cattle Producers-Implications and Management.

Presenters include Dr. Jamie Foster and Dr. Don Renchie with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and Dr. Steve Blezinger, Nutritional & Management Consultant for Reveille Livestock Concepts.

There will be three CEU hours awarded (one L&R and two GEN) at the program. The program will cost $30 per person.
