A Small Farms and Vegetable Conference is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 24 at the American Legion Post, #442, 1630 Meyer St. in Sealy.
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with the program starting at 9 a.m. and going to 3:30 p.m. Lunch will be provided. The cost is $35 per person or $60 per couple.
Topics to be covered are identification and manage ment of diseases, drought stress and recovering of trees, cover crops in your garden and residual pesticides, fire and leaf cutter ant control, feral hog control and laws and regulations.
