WALDECK FOOD TRUCK CHANGES
WALDECK — The Central Texas Food Bank (CTFB) has decided to discontinue serving food as a drive-thru format. Now the Waldeck food truck will have food dis tribution as a walk-up method. Volunteers will distribute the food from tables. Every client needs to bring their own sturdy reusable bags and boxes. A few wagons will be furnished by CTFB, but if the client has their own wagon, please bring it. Waldeck food truck is on third Saturdays of each month from 10 to 11 a.m. The 2023 dates are: Oct. 21, Nov. 18 and Dec. 16.
EAGLE LAKE — The schedule for the Eagle Lake Senior Citizen Dance held the first Friday of each month from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. at the Eagle Lake Community Center at 100 W. Walnut in Eagle Lake is: Oct. 6-Boogie Allen Band; Nov. 3-Blue Denim; and Christmas Dance Dec. 1.

The event includes card games, board games, Bingo with prizes, coffee and tea, movies, lunch pro- vided, educational speakers, field trips including trips to casinos and social gathering.

BELLVILLE — The Austin County Fair will be hosting its annual Senior Citizen Day event Wednesday, Oct. 11 from 10:30 to 2 p.m. Mark your calendar for a day of fun at the Austin County Fair Convention and Expo Center-Women's Building at the Austin County Fairgrounds in Bellville. The event is for any senior citi- zen 65 years and older. Admission fee of $3, which includes lunch, music, a chance at a door prize and Bingo.
