As of press time Tuesday, Darren Houston remains on the run. While he was on trial for family violence charges, he walked out of the Fayette County Courthouse. in La Grange.
Houston, 41, of Austin, left the courthouse before the verdict was read after being convicted and sentenced on Jan. 12. He received a 60-year prison sentence and a $10,000 fine in absentia.
