BELLVILLE - Members of the Austin County Regional Spe - cial Response Team (SRT) exe cuted a search warrant and arrest warrant Sept. 27 at the Park Place Apartments, located at 20 South Mechanic St. in Bellville.
The operation was the result of an ongoing narcotics investi - gation by the Westside (HIDTA) Narcotics Task Force.
Suspects Devan Langley, 36, and Robert Green, 41, were lo - cated and arrested on active war rants for the charge of Manufac- ture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG 1.
A search of the suspect’s apart- ment resulted in the seizure of additional narcotics including
methamphetamine, MDMA, and Xanax, along with United States Currency. A semi-automatic handgun was located inside the apartment that later was con -
firmed to be listed as stolen.
The Westside Narcotics Task Force covers four counties and is comprised of investigators from the Austin County Sheriff's Office, Bellville PD, Sealy PD, Hempstead PD, Waller County Sheriff's Office, Fayette County Sheriff's Office, and DEA. The Austin County District Attorney's Office assisted with the investigation. The investigation is active at this time. The Bellville Police Depart -
ment, Waller County Sheriff's Office K9 Division, and Wash - ington County Tactical Medics, assisted with the operation.
