WALLIS — During the annual Wallis Chamber of Commerce Dinner and Dance, the Wallis Columbus Club Hall was packed from wall to wall with supporters on Sept. 30.
Attendees attired in 50s, 60s and 70s rags, the Blast from the Past theme carried over into the music from The Remnants Band. The Remnants are musicians from the Barons, the Triumphs, the Telestars and others.
The steak dinner was a far cry from a soda, fries and a burger from the local diner with the little jukebox on each table.
