The Lady Bulldogs basketball team has impressed all year
and the results are showing with an appearance at number 14 for Class 2A in the most recent Texas Girls Coaches Association state basketball poll. Flatonia has dazzled under first year head coach Robert Gray with a 26-4 record and things have been flowing nicely throughout the season, also taking advantage of their superior talent.
Flatonia freshman point guard Summer Sodek has scored in double figures for pretty much every game this season and has also eclipsed 20 points a hand-
ful of times. They've also had help from freshman guard Kalen Scott with her accurate shooting. It’s looking like Flatonia is going to keep rolling throughout 2023 and beyond.
