Five total high school swim mers from the tri-county area have qualified for the state swim meet. Four of the swimmers are from Columbus and include Rayce Johnson, Cade Neumann, Justin Strauss, and Colby Williams.
The swimmer from La Grange is Ben Swisher, who will participate in the 100 yard butterfly. The Columbus swimmers will participate in the 200 medley re- l ay, 200 free relay, and 400 free relay.
The event is taking place in Josh Davis Natatorium at Bill Walker Pool in San Antonio on Thursday, Feb. 9 at 10 a.m. and Friday, Feb. 10 at 11 a.m .
