COLUMBUS — The First United Methodist Church in Columbus launched its Share Your Christmas (SYC) 2023 drive. The SYC is a ministry of First United Methodist that shares Christ’s love during the holiday season to families in need in the Alleyton, Columbus and Glidden areas. It helps provide families with basic personal and household necessities, and gifts for children at Christmas time.
Last year, 86 families including 270 children experienced Christ’s love through this ministry. Families in need with Christmas are encouraged to complete an application. Applications can be picked up at 1229 Milam in Columbus or call 979-732-2643. Applicants will be notified at the end of October of when to pick up their gifts.
First United Methodist Church of Columbus will gladly accept donations.
