BELLVILLE — Austin County Tax Assessor and Election Official Kim Ring announced the winners of the first Future Voter and I Voted sticker contest.
The winners of the Future Voter contest were Luke Masson - West End Elementary, third grade; Jones Garza - Faith Academy, fifth grade and Kaelee Carr - Sealy Elementary, fourth grade.
The winners of the I Voted contest were Justin Ochoa - Brazos Middle School, eighth grade; Lina Garcia - Bellville High School, 12th grade and Lydia Huebner - Bellville High School, 11th grade.
The awards were presented Sept. 25 in Austin County Commissioner’s Court at the Austin County Courthouse in Bellville.
There were 250 participants throughout the county. Stickers will be printed and given to voters throughout the 2024 election season.
