PRAHA — The 2023 Migl Family Reunion will be held Saturday, Oct. 21 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church and Parish Hall in Praha. It is the 149th anniversary of the 1874 arrival in America of Frantisek and Johana (Jazek) Migl family.
The doors open for registration at 10 a.m.
A catered lunch will be served from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Plates are $12 per person and children under 8 years old are free.
Everyone is encouraged to bring a dessert.
A family reunion meeting and door prizes while be from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
At 2:30 p.m., there will be a silent auction, family photos and socializing.
The silent auction proceeds will go towards the restoration of the Migl House and future reunions. Donations for the auction are greatly appreciated i.e. home canned good, plants, crafts, etc.
Cecilia Forrest, our family genealogist, needs any updates you have of your family tree, i.e. marriages, births, deaths (copies of obituaries).
Please bring a favorite photo of yourself as well as photos of your ancestors. She will scan your photos or you may leave them with her.
