EAGLE LAKE - The weather was perfect for everyone to get out and enjoy good food and fellowship at the Parish of the Nativity Catholic Church Fall Festival. The festival was held on Oct. 15 in Eagle Lake. The cadets from the Texas ChalleNGe Academy in Eagle Lake stand ready to help in service to the community. Cadets from the academy are at numerous functions to help and are a welcome sight.
There were arts and crafts to be had under the pavilion. The food was delicious with barbecue chicken and sausage with all the trimmings.
There were booth games and cake walks.
