Sealy had their offense clicking on all cylinders and even made some nice plays on defense.

"It's big," said first-year Sealy head football coach Clint Fin - ley on the dominating win. “It’s good for the kids to have some success. We’ve been a little bit on the struggle bus, but it’s good for the kids to come out and have some success. Hopefully we can kind of build on that and finish the rest of the year strong.”

Tigers senior running back Bryson Johnson carried the ball 15 times for 144 yards and two touchdowns. “I just follow my guys,” Johnson said on his big night. “However the play turns out, I just do my job.”

Sealy had a 21-7 lead at the

end of the first quarter before scoring two more times, going

into halftime with a 35-7 on a quarterback draw play from se- nior Reid Miller near the goal line and an eight yard touchdown from Johnson. Johnson scored the next touchdown as well in the third quarter for six yards, then a 20 yard score from sophomore linebacker Isaiah Dukes-Self on a backward pass he retrieved put

it at 49-7 with 8:45 to go in the third quarter.

Another short run for 10 yards from Sealy senior running back Ja'quaveon Wilson at the 3:08 mark and a chip shot field goal make put Sealy ahead 59-7, then Tigers senior defensive end Gage Bowen grabbed a loose ball from Wharton and took it back to the house for about 40 yards in the final minute to help ensure a monster victory at 66-7. This game consisted of a lot of offense from Sealy, driving up and down the field and capitalizing on their efficient drives.
