BELLVILLE - Brahmas football won their last game of the season to ensure a 10-0 bout against Sweeny High School Nov. 3 at Brahmas Stadium by a final score of 49-0. Bellville put their running game on display once again as this game plan has worked for them all year. They also didn’t allow much of anything on defense and forced a few turnovers. "We've got a good senior group, good senior leader ship," said Bellville head football coach Grady Rowe.

"Our defensive front's pretty good. Our linebackers are experienced and we continue to get better and better. Offensive line is young but man, they’ve done a great job and continue to get better and better each week. Our backs, they’ve done a good job. Anytime you got three backs over 1,000 yards in nine games, that's pretty good. So that says something about the offensive line. Zach Leuschner's done a

great job. He probably doesn't get enough credit for being cool and calm and leading us like you want a quarterback to do." Bellville junior running back Corrian Hood had a monster game with 60 yards and three total touchdowns on 11 carries.

"We're very unselfish," Hood said. "We like to help each other out. It's a big part of the offense. A big part of it is the o linemen making big holes for us. Really, everything goes to the o line- men." The Brahmas went ahead 14-0 after a goal line run from Hood at the beginning of the second quarter, then went into the locker room with a 28-0 lead after two touchdown runs from junior running back DD Murray with one being for 45 yards and one for 10 yards. The running back party continued in the sec ond half as senior Sam Hranicky added to the mix with a 39 yard run for a score at the 8:56 mark in the third quarter.

Another eight yard run from Hood a few minutes later put it

at 42-0, then Hranicky put the icing on the cake with a 65 yard run with 3:10 to go in the third quarter to take a 49-0 advantage. Neither team scored in the fourth quarter and the Brahmas cruised to a 49-0 victory and an undefeated season.
