Fayette County 4-H members compete in food challenge

Seventeen Junior and Intermediate Fayette County 4-H Food Challenge teams competed in the Fayette County 4-H Food Challenge.

Seventeen Junior and Intermediate Fayette County 4-H Food Challenge teams competed in the Fayette County 4-H Food Challenge.

In the Junior Division, there were 11 teams competing. The Beefmasters were the Grand Champion Junior Team. Team members consisted of Kaylyn Beseda, Tate Fritsch, Emory Malota and Kloey Noska.

The Creative Cooks were the Reserve Champion Junior Team. Team members consisted of Charli Hadaway, Maebess Huette and Taylyn Newton.

In the Intermediate Division, there were six teams competing.

The Shaker Bakers were the Grand Champion Intermediate Team. Team members consisted of Scotti Beseda, MacKayla Griffin, Hailey Janish, and Kan don Kaspar.

Simmer Down was the Reserve Champion Intermediate Team. Team members consisted of Tatum Fritsch, Allyson Kibby, and Sawyer Mau.

All four Fayette County teams will advance to the District 11 4-H Food Challenge Contest in December.
