SEALY — Another year is in the books for the tiny little chefs at Sealy Elementar. The students officially concluded the garden ing experience in October.
Early Childhood-Learn Grow Eat Go met its goal by creating a fantastic environment for youth to be exposed to the wonderful world of gardening.
The students gained knowledge in a variety of areas from planting to nutrition. At the end of the program, they learned about pollinators, transplants, seeds, and much, much more.
In addition, they continued to increase their knowledge and skills by creating a host of nutritious dishes.
Stay tuned because you will see a new group of youngsters in the future. As usual, watching these youth grow by leaps and bounds in the area of gardening has been fun.
