SAN ANTONIO — The Weimar High School Wildcat football team had their season come to an end Nov. 24 at Northside ISD Dub Farris Stadium in San Antonio with a loss to Refugio High School Bobcats by a final score of 42-14.
The game was tied at seven after the first quar ter, then Refugio put up 28 points in the sec- ond quarter and another touchdown in the third to cruise throughout the rest of the game.
No points were scored by either team in the fourth quarter for the Bobcats to win by an even 28 points.
It was still a remarkable season for Weimar and head coach Wade Griffin in just his second year.
Given the fact that Grif- fin has already clearly turned this thing around, the future is very bright for Wildcats football.
