SEALY - Officer Russell Grimes was promoted to detective/ sergeant over the CID Unit.
Grimes has over 19 years of law enforcement experience. He has been with the Sealy PD for five and a half years with four of those years as an investigator. He holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and has over 4,800 hours of training in law enforcement.
Officer Amanda Leal was pro moted to CID as an investigator. Leal has a total of eight an a half years of law enforcement experience with seven of those years with Sealy PD as a patrol officer and Victim Liaison Officer. She completed 1,500 hours of train ing for her new position.
