The Bellville High School girl’s basketball team has start- ed their season not too hot, but not too cold either as they hold a record near .500 to start the ’23’24 season.
Second year head coach Mike Dewitz has plenty of quality bas ketball experience and is the right man for the job. As it's still way
early in his tenure as a Brahma, it will take some time to get things figured out and has already im - proved from last season with the start he’s had this year.
Dewitz comes from a prom -
inent basketball family as he's worked camps at the college lev - el and his dad was drafted by the Detroit Pistons. Basketball runs in Dewitz blood, so it's only a matter of time before the positive results show for Bellville girl's hoops.
