Two local restaurants, Lulu’s and Celebrations!, are holding dinners, with steaks provided by HeartBrand Beef, in February with the proceeds benefiting the Red Door Fund for Mental Health (RDF) to support mental health awareness, services and providers in the area.

The RDF is thankful to be partnering with HeartBrand Beef, Lulu's of Round Top and Celebrations! By Bistro 108 to hold dinner in “Be Kind February.” Celebrations! will be holding their dinner on Saturday, Feb. 18, and Lulu’s will be holding their dinner starting Sunday, Feb. 19, and will continue to serve RDF dinners until they run out of steak. The steaks being served are New York Strips.

Celebrations! by Bistro 108 is selling the dinners by preorder on their website. Dinners will not be available to purchase onsite on the day of the dinner. If you are interested in purchasing a dinner, please visit their website at www.bistro108.com and prepurchase a plate through their menu. Dinners will be available for purchase starting Monday, Feb. 13 through Friday, Feb. 17, and can be picked up on Saturday, Feb. 18 from 4 to 6 p.m. If you have any questions regarding the dinner at Celebrations!, please call Susan Kuehler at (979) 966–9959.

Dinners will be $50 with part of the proceeds covering to cost of the dinner and the rest benefiting the RDF to be used to raise mental health awareness in the region.

Unlike Celebrations!, Lulu’s will be serving steak dinners at any time of the day, and guests are encouraged to sit down and enjoy their dinner at the restaurant. Guests are not required to prepurchase a steak dinner at Lulu’s.

HeartBrand Beef donated all the steaks.
