Graffiti crime solved

SCHULENBURG – The north wall of St. Rose of Lima Catholic School in Schulenburg was defaced during the early morning hours sometime between Saturday night of Jan. 28 and Sunday, Jan. 29.

SCHULENBURG — The north wall of St. Rose of Lima Catholic School in Schulenburg was defaced during the early morning hours sometime between Saturday night of Jan. 28 and Sunday, Jan. 29.

Schulenburg officers acted on information provided by an alert citizen and in a matter of days, Francisco Dominguez, 33, of Laredo, was arrested at The Texan in Schulenburg. Targeting a school is a felony.

Fayette County Crimestoppers recently awarded an individual for providing information concerning a criminal act in Schulenburg. Schulenburg Chief of Police Troy Brenek reported- vthat graffiti was sprayed on the north wall of St. Rose School.

According to Chief Brenek, an individual stepped forward and gave information to the Schulenburg Police Department which helped to solve this offense.
