Rice Raiders boy’s basketball has started the season off hot with a record well above .500 after recently struggling over the past couple years. The Raiders have always been athletic, it’s just been about executing and finding the finesse the put the ball in the rim. Rice has done that in the ’23-’24 season as they’ve won their last five games in a row and also had a seven-game win streak earlier in the season.
These wins include a 20+ point victory against Flatonia, a 30+ point win over Shiner, and another 20+ point win over Boling. Rice basketball seems like a different team this year and it looks like their success won’t be stopping any time soon.
