The Flatonia High School girl’s basketball team is having a great year as they just defeated Ganado High School Dec. 20 by a final score of 50-32. They now have a dazzling overall record of 17-2 in head coach Bethany Mc- Leod's first year and they pos sess one of the best players in the state of Texas, sophomore guard Summer Sodek.
Sodek can do everything on the court, such as drive to the rim and finish with contact, shoot from long range, and run the of-
fense all while putting up 20 to 30 points per game. Other im portant players on the team are Kalen Scott and Katelin Sullivan.
If the Lady Bulldogs continue on this kind of pace and wipe out their opposition, this team has state tournament potential.
