LA GRANGE — The Fayette County Soil and Water Conservation District held its annual conservation banquet Feb. 3 in La Grange.
After the meal, the awards were handed out to the most deserving for those who participated in the poster and essay contest.
Winners in the Fayette County Soil and Water Conservation District Poster Contest (Division 1-Grades K-2) was Flatonia Elementary students Carter Ahrens and Brylinn Marrs.
Winners in the Poster Contest (Division 2-Grades 3-6) was Tabitha Smith, Sacred Heart School; and Brynlee Berger, St. Rose of Lima.
Winnerst Essay Contest (13 and Under Division) was La Grange Middle School students Logan Stone and Lillian Carey.
Winners in Essay Contest (14-18 Division) was La Grange High School students Nayeli Molina and Ella Pineda.
