LA GRANGE — A seven- hour Multi-County Early Childhood Education Conference will be held Saturday, Feb. 3 at the Randolph Recreation Center in La Grange.
This is a collaborative effort between the Multi-County Early Childhood Education Advisory Committee and Texas A&M AgriLife Extension’s Family & Community Health Agents in Austin, Fayette and Wharton counties.
A variety of guest speakers will offer sessions which will include “Transitions, Songs, and Routines, Oh My!,” “Tiny People, Big Skills,” “Safe Infant Sleep Environment.” and “Guidance Tips & Techniques for the Classroom.” Speakers will include Region 13 Education Center Educators, Public Health Region 6/5 South Specialist, Speech Language Specialist, and Extension Specialists.
The cost of the workshop is $45 and includes breakfast, refreshments, lunch, information packet, speaker fees, handouts, cash door prizes, project materials, mailing, and printing. Registration is limited and the payment deadline is Monday, Janu. 22.
