The Bellville High School boy’s basketball team has begun the season at 3-4 after a domi- nant win over Giddings in its first game of the season, but then lost their last three games in a row to El Campo, Sealy, and Somerville.
The Brahmas are led by second year head coach Mason Loiodice and have players such as DJ Sanders, Zach Leuschner and Deacon Bauerschlag.
Bellville should be just fine in basketball as they possess many athletes from a state championship caliber football team and are also well coached by Loiodice.
Expect this team to have a winning record and to even make some noise come playoff time in February and March.
