SEALY — Sealy Chief of Police Jay Reeves reported The Big 99 Cents and Gift Store on 218 Fowlkes St. in Sealy was robbed on Jan. 3 at 8:40 p.m.
Three suspects entered and assaulted the store employee and took an undisclosed amount of currency and checks before exiting the store and fleeing on foot. Investigations indicate these suspects arrived and left on foot, and believed to have watched the store for a period of time prior to conducting the robbery. All three suspects were described as black males in their late teens to mid-20s.
The first suspect is about 5 ft-9 in. to 5 ft-11 in. tall, wearing a dark colored face mask, dark blue hoodie, black pants, white tennis shoes and had light blue rubber gloves. The second suspect was about 5 ft-1 in. to 5 ft-5 in. tall, wearing a dark colored face mask, blue hoodie, dark blue pants, black tennis shoes and light blue rubber gloves. The third suspect is about 5 ft.-8 in. to 5 ft.-11 in. tall, wearing a dark face mask, black hoodie, blue pants, blue tennis shoes and wearing light blue rubber gloves.
