LA GRANGE — The Fayette County Undercover Narcotics Unit concluded a month-long investigation into narcotics deals with the arrest of five local indi viduals on Jan. 11 in La Grange.
Executing two search warrants on residences in the La Grange city limits, law enforcement seized over 200 grams of methamphetamine and a handgun.
Arrested were John Barakat, 40, of La Grange, with possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon; Lenise Salazar, 42, of La Grange, on a charge of possession of a controlled substance; Fred Lotz, 67, of La Grange, on a charge of manufacturing and delivery of a controlled sub- stance; Andrew Rivera Jr., 39, of Plum, on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and Sheri Miller, 48, of Muldoon, on warrants for manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance and bail jumping.
