Schulenburg boy’s hoops has been on a roll lately as they now have an overall record just below .500 and a dazzling record of 5-1 in district play. The Horns have won five out of their last six games and have players such as Rodney Walton and Byron Johnson, who both usually score efficiently on a nightly basis.
Schulenburg also has role players that have stepped in and contributed nicely.
After a slow start to the season, head coach Rich Hoogendoorn and company seemed to have figured things out and are heating up at the right time.
This is a program that had a state tournament birth just a few years ago under Hoo gendoorn and the veteran head coach also has over 800 career wins. Schulenburg is definitely a team to keep an eye on as we inch closer to the postseason.
