FLATONIA — The Flatonia High School girl’s basketball team has continued their impressive season with a monstrous win over Ganado High School by a final score of 62-19, which was held Jan. 19 at Bulldogs Gym in Flatonia.
Sophomore guard Summer Sodek had her usual game of high scoring with 24 points while Kalen Scott added 15. The Lady Bulldogs have a record well above .500 and are making a case for not only the best girl's hoops team in Fayette County, but the entire tri-county area.
First-year head coach Bethany McLeod has college basketball experience and it’s showing with how she’s led this team in only year one. This is a team that can represent the area in great fashion if they continue on this kind of pace.
