Election office makes its move official

COLUMBUS - The Colorado County Election Office has made its anticipated move to 1117 Tra - vis St. in Columbus. All voter registration and election business will be conducted from the new office space. The Election Cen ter provides a self-contained en- vironment for election security, it provides a larger voting area, and ease of access for citizens in all county offices. There is still some exterior work being done on the building; to secure our citizen’s safety, please call ahead prior to Feb. 20 so we can make sure you have unblocked entry to the building.

Early Voting will no longer be conducted at the Colorado County Annex. Election Day Precinct 305 voting will no longer be conducted at the Agricultural Building. Both have moved to 1117 Travis St. Voters will enter the front of the building and proceed to the voting area and exit the side door upon casting their ballot. Curbside voting will be conducted at the front of the building in the designated parking spot. Ballot-by-mail applications will be mailed to the new address: 1117 Travis St., Columbus, TX 78934.
