BASTROP — Columbus Junior High took six talented band students to Bastrop for the Association of Texas Small School Bands, Region 18/26, Middle School All-Region Band Concert on Jan 20.
These students spent the day on Jan 19, in Bastrop, practicing with other students from the region under clinicians who led them to play music they had never played together.
The practice lasted into the night on Jan. 19 and students returned to Bastrop on Jan. 20 for a full day of rehearsals before the concert at 5 p.m. at the Jerry Fay Wilhelm Center for the Performing Arts.
